Plant Supporting Sculptures
Dynamic garden sculptures with a supporting function for the plants. The sculptures change with the seasons and, therefore, always show different sides of themselves. On commission by garden designer Mechtild Rademaker, I started designing and experimenting with round steel in my studio. The results are three durable and unique jewelry pieces for the garden.
Roundsteel 10 mm, 1800 mm x 400 mm x 400 mm, May 2023, Den Haag.
Here, I employed 6mm round steel to create two towering plant supports, each standing at 2.5 meters in height.
